Technology of Oil Refining Corporation
Our business
The Technology of Oil Refining Corporation and “Tver Oil Refinery Complex” Closed Joint-Stock Company were established in 2005 in the Russian Federation, Slovenia (EU) and the Republic of Panama. The key areas of the company’s activity are researching the oil refining (energy sector) market in EU, the Russian Federation and other countries, as well as the most advanced fields in oil refining (energy sector) in the world and further identifying the most promising areas for the development of technologies for motor fuels, organic synthesis products and related products production based on the results of the above studies. The main areas of research and development are: reducing the production cost of commercial products, increasing both the yield of end products and the economic efficiency of the technology, simultaneously with maximizing quality of commercial products and meeting current environmental standards (both technology and commercial products should be environmentally friendly).

In addition, our company has developed the crude refinery project, which allows highly-efficient processing of light and heavy crudes depending on the availability of the type of mineral commodities in the region of project implementation, which allows moving from processing of light crude to processing of heavy crude by equipping the enterprise with an additional technological process almost without stopping production activities.

Also, our company has developed several innovative technical and technological solutions for the separation (distillation) of crude and its fractions, hot, high-pressure separation of hydrocracking products of residual fractions, which allows reducing coke deposition in separation equipment and some other solutions in the field of crude refining, electricity generation and coal gasification.
We today
The phase of research in the field of processing of conventional energy sources was almost completed by the end of 2012, and the company began a new development phase - research in the field of processing of bitumens, biorefining and production of biodegradable polymers. At present, our company has set goals and targets that should be achieved by implementing technological solutions at the plants planned for construction, as well as continuing scientific-research and technological-innovative activities that ensure the future technological development of our company. In order to achieve these objectives, the company is working on the location of plants in three countries: Italy, Latvia and Spain, based on the technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of projects.

As a result, technological solutions and organizational best practices of our company as part of the location of the enterprise in the Russian Federation, which were further developed and formed the basis for the plants planned for construction in Italy, Latvia and Spain.

In addition, our company is exploring the possibility of building medium-sized refineries in South America, Europe and the USA, as well as the possibility of building a highly-efficient dual-fuel power plant.
